Well, all I can say is it has not been a very fun week. Hurricane Gustav wreaked havoc on this region and hundreds of thousands of people are without power and other utilities. I am still without power here in Vacherie but we did get phones and internet back today, woohooo!!!

My home sustained a little bit of roof damage but overall I guess I’ll say it could have been worse. I am grateful for what we have.
